We are thrilled to host Winchester's first ever Candidate Forum on safe, enjoyable biking and walking in Winchester, VA!

This is YOUR chance to hear directly from your elected leaders about their thoughts, positions and plans to make Winchester safer and more enjoyable for biking and walking.

Do you have a question? This is your chance to ask your candidates directly!

Who will be there? All three candidates for mayor and candidates for council seats in all wards.

Moderator: Kelly Stallard, long time Winchester resident and former debate coach at Handley High School. Kelly is retired at after 17 years at Handley teaching debate, English, special education and forensics speech. She founded the award winning JHHS debate team and served as the head coach for 10 years. She was recognized in 2021 as the National Speech and Debate Association’s Virginia Chapter Debate Coach of the Year. She is also an avid biker and a member of the Winchester Wheelmen

Submitting Questions: We ask that you submit your question(s) ahead of time so that we can get to as many as possible during the forum.​​ Submit as many as you want, and be as specific or as broad as you want. If you submit a question, we ask that you plan on attending the forum to hear the answer to your question in person.
