Bike to Work Day is May 15! In honor of Bike to Work Day, we're hosting an ironically themed Bike to Work Day 'Hooky' Ride!
We've partnered with the city on May 15 for a full Bike to Work Day party, including our casual morning Hooky Ride ride followed by a ribbon cutting for two brand new Walking Mall Bike Racks. These two bike racks were fully designed and manufactured by students at the Innovation Center.
The ribbon cutting is a collaboration between the City, BikeWalk, Winchester Public Schools, the Winchester Police Department & Friends of Old Town.
BikeWalk will be donating a dozen kids helmets to the WPD to give to our local kids, and WPD and BikeWalk representatives will be on hand throughout the event with reminders about Bike safety and Walking Mall Bike Codes, and steps you can take to bike safely downtown.
